Knuckles The Echidna (comics)
''Knuckles the Echidna'', originally published as ''Knuckles: The Dark Legion'' is a 32-issue series of American comic books published by Archie Comics that ran from 1997 to 2000, featuring Knuckles the Echidna, one of Sega's mascot video game characters from the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series. The series was a spin-off of ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' and shared continuity with that title. The series continued the ongoing story of Knuckles' search for answers about his heritage and true nature, which had previously been featured in the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series as well as several specials and miniseries. After the series' cancellation in 2000, Knuckles' stories were continued as a regular feature in issues of ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' and sometimes even tied in with the Sonic story of an issue until 2003. Patrick Spaziante
Patrick Spaziante, or "Spaz" as he is commonly known, is an American comic book artist known for his work for Archie Comics, in particular his interior pencil and cover work for ''Sonic the Hedgehog'', ''Sonic X'' and ''Sonic Universe''. He is also known for his work on Dreamwave Productions' ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'', Nickelodeon Comics' ''Avatar: The Last Airbender'' and Marvel Comics' ''Muties'', as well as his illustration work for Simon & Schuster's children books. Career Spaziante was a member of a group along with Ken Penders and Steven Butler known collectively as "Team Sonic" (not to be confused with "Sonic Team", the original creators of the SEGA franchise), because of their extensive work on the series. Knuckles The Echidna (comic Character)
is a fictional character in Sega's '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' series. He is a red anthropomorphic short-beaked echidna who is Sonic's best friend and former rival. Determined and serious, but sometimes gullible, he has the ability to punch enemies with brute force by using his fists which will destroy the enemy in his way. He serves as the guardian of the Master Emerald, a huge gemstone that controls the series' integral Chaos Emeralds, and is the last living member of his tribe, the Knuckles Clan. Knuckles debuted as an antagonist in ''Sonic the Hedgehog 3'' (1994) after Doctor Eggman tricks him into opposing Sonic and Tails. ''Dracula'' is a novel by Bram Stoker, published in 1897. As an epistolary novel, the narrative is related through letters, diary entries, and newspaper articles.
