"Know Me" is a song by Canadian rapper Nav. It was released through XO and Republic Records on November 2, 2018, one day before his 29th birthday, as the lead single from his second studio album, '' Bad Habits'' (2019). Nav wrote the song alongside his manager, Cash, and also with producers Pro Logic and Austin Powerz. The song debuted and peaked at number 63 on the Canadian Hot 100. Background and composition In an emailed statement to ''The Fader'', Nav wrote about a studio session that led to the making of the song: "I was recording on of a lot of my own beats & of other producers. When I ran out I asked my engineer Pro Logic to play me some of his own beats -one of the first ones he played me became 'Know Me'." Navraj Singh Goraya (born November 3, 1989), known professionally as Nav (stylized in all caps), is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career as a producer, co-producing fellow Canadian rapper Drake (musician), Drake's single "Back to Back (Drake song), Back to Back" in 2015. He then gained mainstream attention in 2016 when his song "Myself (song), Myself" went viral. Diamond clarity is the quality of diamonds that relates to the existence and visual appearance of internal characteristics of a diamond called ''inclusions'', and surface defects, called ''blemishes''. Bad Habits is the second studio album by Canadian rapper Nav. It was released through XO Records and Republic Records on March 22, 2019. The album features guest appearances from The Weeknd, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Durk. The deluxe edition was released four days later on March 26, 2019. It features additional guest appearances from Future and fellow now-former XO labelmates 88Glam.
