Knives (album)
''Knives'' is the fourth studio album by American punk rock band Aiden. Recording and composition On January 15, 2009, it was announced that the band had begun recording their next album. It was recorded and produced by WiL at his own studio, Sleepy Hollow, in Seattle. The album is a return to Aiden's horror punk style, after the lighter style of the album ''Conviction''. Release On March 14, 2009, ''Knives'' was announced for release in May. On April 1, "Scavengers of the Damned" was announced as the first single from the album and was made available to buy on iTunes as well as uploaded to the band'MySpace page The album was released on May 11 in the UK and a day later in the US through Victory Records. Aiden was an American horror punk band from Seattle, Washington that formed in the spring of 2003. They achieved underground success during the mid to late 2000s with their classic lineup, featuring vocalist William Francis, guitarists Angel Ibarra and Jake Wambold, bassist Nick Wiggins, and drummer Jake Davison. History Early years and ''Our Gangs Dark Oath'' (2003–2004) The band formed in 2003 and is named after the character Aidan Keller of the 2002 film '' The Ring ("Dude, that kid's just spooky,"'' Francis said of the character whose name is actually spelled Aidan). Ryann Donnelly
Ryann was born in Olympia, Washington. With friends from high school, Jonah Bergman and Steve Bonnell, Ryann formed the band Schoolyard Heroes. Their debut album was " The Funeral Sciences", and their second album " Fantastic Wounds" was a cult hit. In 2007 Schoolyard Heroes released '' Abominations'', for which two music videos were made. Abominations received generally positive reviews from music critics. The band announced their break up on November 20, 2009. Ryann started a similar band, "Blood Cells" with Jonah Bergman and two new members in early 2010. After only a few shows together, Ryann left the band and moved to New York, where she started producing pop music through her own label "The Lonely Hearts Singles Club." The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine and is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. Often, a recording act will be remembered by its " number ones", those of their albums that outperformed all others during at least one week. The chart grew from a weekly top 10 list in 1956 to become a top 200 list in May 1967, and acquired its current name in March 1992. William Roy "wiL" Francis (a.k.a. William Control) (born January 8, 1982) is an American rock musician, record producer, author, and artist. He came to prominence as the lead vocalist and principal songwriter of the horror punk band Aiden. Biography Francis joined the original lineup of Aiden in 2003 as their bassist and replaced Steve Clemens as lead vocalist later that year. He became the creative force behind Aiden and, for the 2015 final album and tours, was the only member of the original lineup still in the band. During Aiden's hiatus from 2012 to 2015, Francis' primary musical output was William Control, and he has returned to this project full-time. In the field of recorded music, a hidden track (sometimes called a ghost track, secret track or unlisted track) is a song or a piece of audio that has been placed on a CD, audio cassette, LP record, or other recorded medium, in such a way as to avoid detection by the casual listener. NOFX
NOFX () is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1983. Vocalist/bassist Fat Mike, guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin are original founding and longest-serving members of the band, who have appeared on every release of the band, although Sandin departed briefly in 1985, only to rejoin the following year. El Hefe joined the band in 1991 to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the current line-up. NOFX's mainstream success coincided with increased interest in punk rock during the 1990s, though, unlike many of their contemporaries (including Bad Religion, Green Day, and The Offspring), they have never been signed to a major label.
