Dan Klippenstein
Daniel N. Klippenstein (September 30, 1939 – February 15, 1997) was a Canadian former curler. He played lead on the 1973 Brier Champion team (skipped by Harvey Mazinke), representing Saskatchewan. They later went on to win second place at the World Championships of that year. He was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 1982. Klippenstein also played baseball until he was 55 years of age. He died from prostate cancer at the age of 57 in 1997. His grave site is at Trossachs, Saskatchewan Trossachs is a hamlet in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Glen Klippenstein
Glen Klippenstein (born May 29, 1937) was a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Klippenstein represented the 5th District, encompassing all or parts of Buchanan, Clinton, De Kalb and Gentry counties in northwest Missouri. He is also a former interim State Senator for the 12th District. Personal history Glen O. Klippenstein was born May 29, 1937 on his grandparents' farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. He attended Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, graduating in 1955. Representative Klippenstein received his higher education at Penn State University, earning a degree in Animal Science in 1959. He moved to Missouri in the 1960s and established GlenKirk Farms, a cattle breeding operation which has sold cattle, semen, and embryos across America and worldwide. Ken Klippenstein (born February 1, 1988) is an American journalist working at ''The Intercept''. Prior to joining ''The Intercept'', Klippenstein was the D.C. Correspondent at ''The Nation'' and previously a senior investigative reporter for the online news program ''The Young Turks.''
