''Star Trek: Klingon Academy'' is a Space flight simulator game, space flight simulator video game developed by 14 Degrees East, an internal development house of publisher Interplay Entertainment. The game follows a young Klingon warrior named Torlek as he attends the Elite Command Academy, a war college created by Chang (Star Trek), General Chang to prepare warriors for a future conflict with the United Federation of Planets. Christopher Plummer and David Warner (actor), David Warner reprised their respective roles as Chang and Gorkon for the production of ''Klingon Academy''. ''Klingon Academy'' is the successor to Interplay's Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (video game), ''Star Trek: Starfleet Academy'', this time played from the viewpoint of the Klingon Empire. Interplay Entertainment Corp. is an American video game developer and publisher based in Los Angeles. The company was founded in 1983 as Interplay Productions by developers Brian Fargo, Jay Patel, Troy Worrell, and Rebecca Heineman, as well as investor Chris Wells. The Final Frontier
''The Final Frontier'' is the fifteenth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released on 13 August 2010 in Germany, Austria and Finland, 17 August in North America, 18 August in Japan, and 16 August worldwide. Kobayashi Maru
The ''Kobayashi Maru'' is a training exercise in the ''Star Trek'' franchise designed to test the character of Starfleet Academy cadets in a no-win scenario. The ''Kobayashi Maru'' test was first depicted in the 1982 film '' Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan'', and it has since been referred to and depicted in numerous other ''Star Trek'' media. The notional goal of the exercise is to rescue the civilian spaceship ''Kobayashi Maru'', which is damaged and stranded in dangerous territory. The cadet being evaluated must decide whether to attempt to rescue the ''Kobayashi Maru''—endangering their ship and crew—or leave the ''Kobayashi Maru'' to certain destruction. If the cadet chooses to attempt a rescue, an insurmountable enemy force attacks their vessel. By reprogramming the test itself, James T. Kirk became the only cadet to defeat the ''Kobayashi Maru''. In the Setting (fiction), fictional universe of ''Star Trek'', Starfleet Academy is where recruits to Starfleet's officer corps are trained. It was created in the year 2161, when the United Federation of Planets was founded. The Academy's motto is "''Ex astris, scientia''" – "From the stars, knowledge." This is derived from the ''Apollo 13'' motto "''Ex luna, scientia''" – "From the moon, knowledge." In turn, the Apollo 13 motto was inspired by "''Ex scientia, tridens,''" the motto of the United States Naval Academy, meaning "From knowledge, seapower." Michael Dorn (born December 9, 1952) is an American actor best known for his role as the Klingon Worf in the '' Star Trek'' franchise. Gorn (Star Trek)
The Gorn are a fictional extraterrestrial humanoid reptilian species in the American science fiction franchise ''Star Trek''. They first appeared in a 1967 episode of the original series, "Arena", in which Captain Kirk fights an unnamed Gorn on a rocky planet.
