Christian Klien
Christian Klien (born 7 February 1983) is an Austrian former Formula One racing driver. In total he has scored 14 points in Formula One. Klien currently competes full-time in the GT World Challenge Europe for JP Motorsport. Racing career Born in Hohenems, Klien started his motorsport career in his early teens. He raced in karting championships in both Austria and Switzerland, before moving to Formula BMW. After winning several titles in lower Formulas, Klien moved into Formula One, driving for the Jaguar Racing team, alongside Mark Webber. At the end of 2004, however, Jaguar sold its Formula One team to Red Bull, which renamed it ''Red Bull Racing''. In an unusual arrangement, Klien shared a race seat with Italian Vitantonio Liuzzi. He stayed at Red Bull for 2006, whilst Liuzzi moved to the Red Bull junior team, Scuderia Toro Rosso. Erika Giovanna Klien (12 April 1900 – 19 July 1957) was an artist and art educator. Career Erika Giovanna Klien was born on 12 April 1900, in Borgo Valsugana, Trentino, Italy. She began her studies at the Vienna School of Applied Arts, also known as ''Kunstgewerbeschule Wien'' in Vienna, Austria in 1919 and graduated in 1925. A student of Dr. Franz Cižek, Klien became one of his teaching assistants. In Cižek's course, "Theory of Ornamental Form", Klien was introduced to a new style known as Viennese Kineticism – a style that emphasized movement and modern vitality, in a way similar to French Cubism, Italian Futurism and Russian Constructivism. After learning about the technique and theories of Kinetism, Klien became one of its leading exponents. After graduation, Klien found it difficult, as did many women, to earn a living as an independent artist. Michael Kliën (born 1973) is a choreographer and artist who was born in Hollbrunn, Austria and grew up in Vienna. Since 2017, Kliën has been a professor at Duke where he was the inaugural director of the Dance MFA program. Paula Klien (born in Rio de Janeiro) is a contemporary Brazilian artist. Biography Klien showed work at the Florence Biennale in December 2011 and the in January 2012.
