Rijk de Gooyer (17 December 1925 – 2 November 2011) was a Dutch Golden Calf-winning actor, writer, comedian and singer. From the 1950s until the early 1970s, he became well known in The Netherlands as part of a comic duo with John Kraaijkamp, Sr. In the United States best known for having small roles in films such as '' Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht'', ''Soldaat van Oranje'', '' A Time to Die'' and ''The Wilby Conspiracy''. Biography De Gooyer was raised in a baker's family, born as one half of a fraternal twin. In World War II he worked as an interpreter. Initially for the American 101st Airborne, later on for the British Field Security. From 1959 till 1961 de Gooyer studied at an actors school of the UFA in Berlin. During these years, he supposedly worked for the CIA as an informant. In the 1950s, he started a comic duo with Johnny Kraaijkamp. Annet Nieuwenhuijzen (7 November 1930 – 5 August 2016) was a Dutch actress. Biography Nieuwenhuijzen was born on 7 November 1930 in Utrecht.. She received no formal training as an actress, and her career began in 1953 after being spotted at a student play in Amsterdam. Soon thereafter, she performed at the Haagse Comedie, het Rotterdams Toneel, Globe, Publiekstheater, and Toneelgroep Amsterdam. Nieuwenhuyzen earned the Theo d'Or award twice, in 1965 and 1975. She received the Golden Calf for her role in the film ''Leedvermaak''. A versatile actress, she played tragedies, comedies, and musicals and bore the prestigious Theo Mann-Bouwmeester ring. Nieuwenhuyzen was long the partner of the television presenter Kick Stokhuyzen. She married theater historian Xandra Knebel in 2012. Nieuwenhuyzen died on 5 August 2016. Kees Brusse (; 26 February 1925 – 9 December 2013) was a Dutch actor, film director and screenwriter. A self-taught actor, he was remarkable for his natural acting style at a time when more theatrical performances were the norm in The Netherlands. One of the first Dutch actors who managed to combine a stage and film career with a career on TV, radio and in commercials, he appeared in 47 films and television shows between 1936 and 2004, including ''Pension Hommeles'' (1957-1959), ''Ciske de Rat'' (1955), and '' Dokter Pulder zaait papavers'' (1975). A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement. Films in this style traditionally have a happy ending (black comedy being an exception). Comedy is one of the oldest genres in film and it is derived from the classical comedy in theatre.
