Kleinhoff Hotel
''Kleinhoff Hotel'' is a 1977 erotic drama film directed by Carlo Lizzani. Plot Pascale is a rich and beautiful French lady married to an architect, both often traveling around the world for work and then far away from each other. Just one of these circumstances, Pascale loses her plane to London and is forced to stay in Berlin. She chooses to stay at Kleinhoff Hotel, where she had lived as a student years earlier. The room next to her is occupied by Alex, a young fugitive terrorist hunted by German police and instructed by his group to eliminate Pedro, a suspected traitor. The curiosity and attraction to Alex becomes so overwhelming that Pascale renounces to her departure for London in order to stalk the young terrorist. Carlo Lizzani
Carlo Lizzani (3 April 1922 – 5 October 2013) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and critic. Biography Born in Rome, before World War II Lizzani worked as a scenarist on such films as Roberto Rossellini's ''Germany Year Zero'', Alberto Lattuada's '' The Mill on the Po'' (both 1948) and Giuseppe De Santis' ''Bitter Rice'' (1949), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Story. After directing documentaries, he debuted as a feature director with the admired World War II drama ''Achtung! Banditi!'' (1951). Werner Pochath (29 September 1939 – 18 April 1993) was an Austrian film actor. He worked in Germany, Italy and the United States, and then in the 1980s he began a second career as a Hollywood agent. Michele Placido (; born 19 May 1946) is an Italian actor, film director, and screenwriter. He began his career on stage, and first gained mainstream attention through a series of roles in films directed by the likes of Mario Monicelli and Marco Bellocchio, winning the Berlinale's Silver Bear for Best Actor for his performance in the 1979 film ''Ernesto''. He is known internationally for portraying police inspector Corrado Cattani on the crime drama television series '' La piovra'' (1984–2001). Valentino Orsini (19 January 1927 in Pisa – 26 January 2001 in Cerveteri) was an Italian film director. After his first interests to arts (he had been sculptor, stage designer, cinema critic, cineclub animator) in his hometown, in 1954 Valentino Orsini directed with the brothers Paolo and Vittorio Taviani (born in the near small city of San Miniato) the documentary ''San Miniato: luglio'' 1944. After other documentaries, most with Taviani brothers, he realized his first fiction films in 1962 and in 1963, both with the two brothers. After other documentaries Orsini directed his first fiction film alone, ''I dannati della terra'' in 1969.
