Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag ( Faroese for ''Sports Club of Klaksvík''), commonly known as KÍ, is a Faroese professional football club based in Klaksvík. The club was founded in 1904 and is one of the most successful Faroese football clubs, having won the Faroe Islands Premier League 20 times and the Faroe Islands Cup 6 times. The club wears blue and white and plays matches at the Við Djúpumýrar stadium. History KÍ won the inaugural edition of Faroese top-tier football in 1942. In 1992, KÍ Klaksvík participated for the first time on a European stage, competing in the Champions League preliminary round against Skonto Riga of Latvia, where they lost 6–1 on aggregate. By winning the double in 1999, KÍ reached a total of 17 league titles, a record at the time. Við Djúpumýrar (formerly also known as ''Injector Arena'' for sponsorship reasons) is a multi-use stadium in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands. It is mostly used for football matches. Atli Danielsen (born 15 August 1983) is a Faroese footballer who currently plays for KÍ Klaksvík in the Premier League of the Faroe Islands. Club career Danielsen started with KÍ Klaksvík, playing his first game in their 2000 league season. Tórsvøllur
Tórsvøllur is a football stadium on the sport site of Gundadalur in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. The stadium holds 5,000 people, and was built in 1999 to become the country's national stadium to provide an artificial grass surface on which international football matches could be played. Previously, the Faroe Islands national team played its home matches in the town of Toftir at Svangaskarð stadium. In August 2011, floodlights were introduced; these were first officially used for the football match between Faroe Islands and Italy on 2 September 2011. FC Dinamo Tbilisi ( ka, დინამო თბილისი, ) is a Georgian professional football club based in Tbilisi, Georgia, that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top flight of Georgian football.
