Band history The band was formed by Tim Steffens and Florian Toyka in 1998 in Meckenheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. After two demo-recordings the band finished their debut album, ''Our Journey through the Woods'', in summer 2003. This was in collaboration with Marlon Drescher (session drums) and Armin Rave (mix and mastering). In February 2005 the second album, ''Der Ort'', was released on Heavy Horses Records. Black metal is an extreme metal, extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Folk Metal
Folk metal is a fusion genre of heavy metal music and traditional folk music that developed in Europe during the 1990s. Klabautermann
A Klabautermann is a water kobold that assists sailors and fishermen on the Baltic and North Sea in their duties. It is a merry and diligent creature, with an expert understanding of most watercraft, and an irrepressible musical talent. It is believed to rescue sailors washed overboard. The name comes from the Low German verb ''klabastern'' meaning "rumble" or "make a noise". The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
