Klaas Wels
Klaas Wels (born 2 September 1973) is a Dutch professional football manager. Playing career Wels was a defender. During his active playing career, he represented hometown club RKSV Schijndel since his childhood. He also played two seasons for Blauw Geel '38 and one season for the reserves of FC Den Bosch. After this, he returned to RKSV Schijndel. Managerial career Wels started his coaching career in 2004 at RKSV Schijndel. There, he became coach of the club's second team. From 2008 to 2009, he was head coach of Festilent, after which he left for Best Vooruit. In August 2010, his contract with the club was terminated, and he began working at FC Oss as an assistant coach. In March 2012, it was announced that Wels would combine his work at FC Oss with the head coaching position at SV Deurne. He signed a contract for two seasons. Schijndel () is a town and former municipality in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant. Schijndel is located approximately southeast of 's-Hertogenbosch. Schijndel was founded on 6 December in the year 1309. Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. Each club plays every other club once in the first half of the season before the league takes a winter break around the Christmas and New Year's holiday season. The second half of the season sees the same fixtures as the first half, with the stadiums changed, although the two halves are not played in the same order.
