Kjell Johansson (born 12 February 1951) is a former tennis player from Sweden. Johansson turned professional in 1974. He won one singles title (12 March 1978, Lagos) during his career and reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on 21 August 1978, when he became world number 32. The 1978 Davis Cup was the 67th edition of the Davis Cup, the most important tournament between national teams in men's tennis. 50 teams entered the competition, 29 in the Europe Zone, 10 in the Americas Zone, and 11 in the Eastern Zone. The United States defeated Chile in the Americas Inter-Zonal final, Australia defeated New Zealand in the Eastern Zone final, and Great Britain and Sweden were the winners of the two Europe Zones, defeating Czechoslovakia and Hungary respectively. José Higueras
José Higueras (; born 1 March 1953) is a tennis coach and former professional tennis player from Spain. Between 1976 and 1984, Higueras won 16 top-level singles titles. A semi-finalist at the French Open in 1982 and 1983, he reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 6 in 1983. He was also a member of the Spanish team which won the inaugural World Team Cup in 1978. Higueras retired from the professional tour in 1986. After retiring as a player, he became a successful tennis coach. He helped coach Michael Chang to the 1989 French Open title, and later, along with Brad Stine, coached Jim Courier to help him reach the world No. 1 singles ranking in 1992, as well as coaching Courier to two French Open titles (1991 and 1992) and two Australian Open titles (1992 and 1993). Mark Cox (born 5 July 1943) is a former tennis player from England, who played professional and amateur tennis in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He was ranked as high as world No. 13 on the ATP rankings (achieving that ranking in August 1977). Cox was educated at Wyggeston Grammar School in Leicester and Millfield School in Somerset. Cox obtained an economics undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge (Downing College), where he was a member of the Cambridge University Lawn Tennis Club.
