Kjell Erfjord
Kjell Erfjord (born 24 July 1940) is a Norway, Norwegian former educator and politician for the Christian Democratic Party (Norway), Christian Democratic Party. He was born in Hjelmeland as a son of Bernt Erfjord (1898–1981) and Karen Hagen (1905–1990). He was educated in Årdal, Rogaland, Årdal and Stavanger before attending the Norwegian College of General Sciences, Norwegian College of Teaching from 1966 to 1970. He worked as a teacher at Lundheim Folk High School from 1963 to 1970, and headmaster from 1970 to 1985 and 1995 to 1999. He became involved in politics, and was a member of Lund, Norway, Lund municipal council (Norway), municipal council from 1971 to 2007, serving as deputy mayor from 1975 to 1979 and mayor from 1981 to 1991 and 1999 to 2007. He was a member of Rogaland county council (Norway), county council from 1983 to 1995, serving as deputy county mayor () from 1985. Norwegian Missionary Society
The Norwegian Missionary Society or the Norwegian Mission Society ( no, Det Norske Misjonsselskap, NMS) is the first and oldest missionary organization in Norway. It was started by a group of approximately 180 Stavanger residents in August 1842, to spread Christianity to other people, mainly in Africa. Hans Paludan Smith Schreuder was its first missionary, leaving for the Zulu Kingdom in 1843. Kari Sørheim (born 12 October 1948) is a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland during the terms 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. In total she met during 36 days of parliamentary session. On the local level she has been a member of Masfjorden municipal council. Among her policies to attract residents to her remote municipality was to subsidize the drivers' license for youth.
