Kitoko
Kitoko, born Patrick Bibarwa, is a Rwandan singer. He released his debut album, ''Ifaranga'', in January 2010. The album enjoyed immediate and wide success in Rwanda and Uganda. In 2012 a reviewer for Ugandan newspaper ''The East African'' called him "the biggest Rwandan artiste at the moment". Prior to launching his musical career, Bibarwa sang in a local church choir. In 2012, Kitoko was invited to give a private performance at the birthday of Ange Kagame, daughter of Rwandan president Paul Kagame. In February 2013, Kitoko performed at the Rwandan Cultural Festival in Jylland-Fyn, Denmark. He has also performed throughout the East African Community and in the United States, France and Belgium. He was a winner twice at the Salax Awards, including in the category of Best Afrobeat Artiste. In June 2013, Kitoko announced his retirement from the music industry for unknown reasons. Zaire
Zaire (, ), officially the Republic of Zaire (french: République du Zaïre, link=no, ), was a Congolese state from 1971 to 1997 in Central Africa that was previously and is now again known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Zaire was, by area, the third-largest country in Africa (after Sudan and Algeria), and the 11th-largest country in the world. With a population of over 23 million inhabitants, Zaire was the most-populous officially Francophone country in Africa, as well as one of the most populous in Africa. The country was a one-party totalitarian military dictatorship, run by Mobutu Sese Seko and his ruling Popular Movement of the Revolution party. Zaire was established following Mobutu's seizure of power in a military coup in 1965, following five years of political upheaval following independence from Belgium known as the Congo Crisis.
