Kithay Nain
"Kithay Nain" is a Punjabi folk song recorded by Pakistani singer Reshma. It was written by Manzur Jhalla and became one of the most popular Punjabi song sang by Reshma and has been reproduced, rendered and sung by many artists including Fariha Pervez, Alka Yagnik and Ali Sethi. Ali Sethi version The song was rerecorded by Ali Sethi as a tribute to Reshma, composed by Saad Sultan and Syed Umar Ali it received widespread acclaim. The video of the song was directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat and Saim Sadiq and features Sethi himself with his sister Mira Sethi and actors Sania Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui. Reshma
Reshma ( ur, ; c.1947 – 3 November 2013), was a Pakistani folk singer. Awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Star of Distinction), the third highest honour and civilian award in Pakistan among other honours, she is remembered for folk songs and her powerful singing voice. Born in Rajasthan, India in a nomadic Banjara household in 1947, her family relocated to Karachi after the Partition of India. Discovered by a local producer at the age of twelve while singing at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, Sindh, Reshma went on to record various folk songs for such labels as the Pakistan Radio. Her first project with the company " Laal Meri" was an instant hit and she was catapulted to fame with several television appearances in the 1960s. Reshma went on to record songs for both the Pakistani and Indian film industry. Uzair Jaswal is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and actor. Career Uzair started his career at the age of 14. At 16, he wrote his first song and was the lead singer of a band called Scar which performed alternative-rock covers. 4th Hum Awards
The 4th Hum Awards ceremony, presented by the Hum Television Network and Entertainment Channel (HTNEC), sponsored by Servis, honored the best in fashion, music and Hum Television Dramas of 2015. It took place on April 23, 2016 at the Expo Centre in Karachi, Sindh, beginning at 7:30 p.m. PST. During the ceremony, HTNEC presented Hum Awards in 25 categories.
