Kitaysky Tank (russian: Китайский танк, ''Chinese tank'') is the first solo-album of the Russian rock musician Armen Grigoryan and 3'Angel. The group is named so because this is the third team of Armen Grigoryan. History The album was released in May 2006 and included 12 completely new songs. Two of them, "Chinese tank" and "Ragtime", were already well known to fans as they had a constant rotation on Nashe Radio, Radio Russia Radio Rossii (russian: Радио России, ''Radio of Russia'') is the primary public radio station in Russia. Armen Grigoryan
Armen Grigoryan (russian: Армен Григорян, hy, Արմեն Գրիգորյան) is a singer/songwriter, artist, and the front man (and main songwriter) of "Krematorij" (''Crematorium'') Russian rock-band. Biography Armen Grigoryan was born on November 24, 1960, in Moscow to Armenian parents. During school time, he was a classmate of Sergey Golovkin, who later became a notorious serial killer. A player of Dynamo Moscow, Grigoryan became a two-time champion of junior football. He grew up listening to the magic sounds of The Beatles mysteriously penetrating the Iron Curtain. Inspired by Beatle's music, Grigoryan, while still in high school, started his musical career (from 1977 he played in a band called "Atmospheric pressure") and in 1983 he formed "Crematorium" which gained a reputation throughout the former Soviet Union and began to perform at concerts all over the country. Nashe Radio
Nashe Radio (russian: Наше радио, ''Our Radio'', pronounced ''Nashe radio'') is a Russian Rock music radio station. It was designed to promote Russian rock bands, as opposed to pop and Western music. Nashe is based in Moscow and broadcast in every major Russian city as well as through the internet stream. It was founded in 1998 by former Radio Maximum producer . Popular bands aired on Nashe include Zemfira, Aria, DDT, Kino, Splin, Bi-2, and many others, including Ukrainian and Belarusian bands, which are never considered foreign. The music style ranges from pop rock to heavy metal to folk rock and reggae, but Nashe's mainstream is 80's style classic rock and modern pop punk.
