Kiss Instant Live
''Kiss Instant Live'' is a series of 2 Compact Disc, CD live albums, each containing a recording of the complete set from a show on the Rock the Nation Tour from 2004. The discs were recorded and distributed through Live Nation. Some shows (where the venues were not owned/promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment) were not recorded. In addition, some technical issues prevented the recording of some other dates. The setlists differ slightly between shows. Eric Singer returned to the band replacing Peter Criss and featured in the Catman makeup. ''Rock and Roll Over'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Kiss, released in 1976. It was recorded at the Star Theatre in Nanuet, New York. Album information To get the proper drum sound, Peter Criss recorded his tracks in a bathroom, communicating via video-link with the rest of the band. Three of Gene Simmons' songs are clear re-workings of demos from the 1975 Magna Graphics Studios demo: "Ladies Room" is based on "Don't Want Your Romance"; "Love'Em and Leave'Em" is based on "Rock and Rolls-Royce" and "Calling Dr. Love" is a re-working of "Bad, Bad Lovin'" Criss sings "Baby Driver" – a rewrite of a Peter Criss/Stan Penridge demo from Criss's pre-Kiss band Lips – and "Hard Luck Woman," a song Paul Stanley originally planned to pitch to Rod Stewart, but Simmons insisted Criss sing it. Paul Stanley (born Stanley Bert Eisen; January 20, 1952) is an American musician who is the co-founder, frontman, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the hard rock band Kiss. He is the writer or co-writer of many of the band's most popular songs. Stanley established The Starchild character for his Kiss persona. "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" is a 1973 song by the British band Argent and covered by Kiss as "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You II" in 1991, with modified lyrics. Life and career The 1960s In the 1960s, Poncia formed a songwriting team with Peter Anders (née Peter Andreoli). Robert Alan Ezrin (born March 25, 1949) is a Canadian music producer and keyboardist, best known for his work with Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, Andrea Bocelli and Phish.
