Kishmu
Meenakshisundaram Ramasamy Krishnamurthy better known as Kishmu was an Indian film and stage actor. He is also brother of famous actor and director Visu. Kishmu made his debut in the Visu-directed film Manal Kayiru in 1982. Other notable film appearances include ''Manal Kayiru, Dowry Kalyanam, Chidambara Rahasiyam, Samsaram Adhu Minsaaram, Thirumathi Oru Vegumathi, Nanayam illatha Nanayam, Kavalan Avan Kovalan, and Varavu Nalla Uravu.'' Film career After his career in theatre, Kishmu began acting with his brother, Visu. Kishmu made his acting debut in the second film directed by Visu, ''Manal Kayiru'' (1982), which received critical and commercial acclaim. ''Penmani Aval Kanmani'' is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Visu and produced by Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandaswamy. The film stars Pratap Pothen, Seetha, Visu and Kishmu. It was released on 11 March 1988. The film was remade in Telugu as ''Aadade Adharam''. Plot The movie deals with how Radio Mama (Visu) solves the family related problems in the other neighbouring households. Four families are principally involved in this movie. ''Varavu Nalla Uravu'' () is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language drama film, written and directed by Visu and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions. The film stars Visu, Annapoorna, Rekha, Vidhyashree, Kishmu and Ilavarasan. It is about two contrasting families with its patriarchs being best friends. ''Manal Kayiru'' () is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film written and directed by Visu in his directorial debut. The film stars S. Ve. Shekher and Shanthi Krishna, with Visu, Manorama, Kishmu and Kuriakose Ranga portraying supporting roles. It is based on Visu's play ''Modi Masthan''. He also stars as part of an ensemble cast including Lakshmi, Chandrasekhar, Kishmu, Raghuvaran, Delhi Ganesh, Ilavarasi, Manorama, Madhuri, Kamala Kamesh, Dilip and Haja Sheriff. The film revolves around the splintering of a joint family, and the efforts made by the patriarch's eldest daughter-in-law to reunite them. The story of ''Samsaram Adhu Minsaram'' was inspired by Visu's play ''Uravukku Kai Koduppom'', which had already been adapted into a 1975 film. Despite the failure of that film, producer M. ''Oomai Vizhigal'' (; Gouged eyes) is an Indian 1986 Tamil-language crime action film directed by R. Aravindraj.
