Kirtland Central High School
Kirtland Central High School (KCHS) is located in the town of Kirtland, New Mexico, United States. Its colors are Purple & Gold and their mascot is the Bronco. KCHS is a part of the Central Consolidated School District along with Newcomb High School and Shiprock High School. Athletics Kirtland Central is a New Mexico Activities Association ( NMAA) AAAA school in District 1-4A. KCHS competes in 15 NMAA sport and Activity Events. KCHS has taken a total of 32 State Championships in 3A & 4A. Girls' Basketball The Kirtland Central girls basketball program has put together one of the most astonishing dynasties in New Mexico high school sports. Kirtland, New Mexico
Kirtland is a town, made up of part of the former census-designated place (CDP) of the same name in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States. The population of the former CDP was 6,190 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Farmington Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Kirtland was founded in the early 1880s by Mormon settlers, who named it after Kirtland, Ohio. (Reflecting its history and principal demographic, the city's principal thoroughfare is Brigham Street, with a Mormon meetinghouse on the street and a release-time seminary building across the street from Kirtland Central High School.) All-Americans
The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. Bernalillo High School is a public high school in Bernalillo, New Mexico, United States. The school is a part of the Bernalillo Public Schools district and is the only high school in the district.
