Kirsti Blom (born 1 May 1953) is a Norwegian author, raised in Hov in Søndre Land. Career She made her debut at the age of 20 in 1973 with the novel ''Bilde av et menneske'' (''Picture of a Man''). Blom has since written several novels, collections of poems and short storiesm, and a number of children's books, including non-fiction books about animals and nature in the ''Polarserien'' (''Polar Series''). In 2007, Kirsti Blom and Kit M. Kovacs were nominated for the Brage Prize for the ''Polar Bear'' in the non-fiction class for children. Kirsti Sparboe (born 7 December 1946) is a Norwegian musical performer and an actress. Most of her musical career has been built on participation in the widely-popular Eurovision Song Contest in which she competed three times and scored a grand total of four points. Kirsti Sparboe was born on 7 December 1946 in Tromsø, Norway. She first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1965 when she was 18, with the song " Karusell", which came in 13th place. She then participated in the 1966 Norwegian pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Gi Meg Fri", which came in second. In 1967, her song " Dukkemann" came in 14th place. Kirsti Huke (born March 6, 1977 in Melhus, Norway) is a Norwegian singer, and composer. Huke was best recognized as the lead singer for Norwegian doom metal/experimental band The 3rd and the Mortal in the final line-up. She is also known from collaborations with musicians such as Egil Kapstad, Erlend Skomsvoll, Tore Brunborg, Ola Kvernberg, Vigleik Storaas, Håvard Wiik, Håkon Mjåset Johansen, Erik Nylander and Steinar Raknes. Kirsti Ilvessalo (after marriage, Kirsti Ilvessalo-Viljakainen; 25 May 1920 – 5 July 2019) was a Finnish textile artist, best known for her ryijy. Kirsti Andersen (born December 9, 1941, Copenhagen), published under the name Kirsti Pedersen, is a Danish historian of mathematics. She is an Associate Professor of the History of Science at Aarhus University, where she had her Candidate examination in 1967. Work Andersen has written on the early history of mathematical analysis (for example, Cavalieri and Roberval). She has also written extensively on the history of graphical perspective. Kirsti Lay (born 7 April 1988) is a Canadian former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally for UCI Women's Team between 2016 and 2019.
