Kirsten Rosenberg
Kirsten Rosenberg is an American singer, currently with the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens. She is also an animal rights advocate, as well as a former co-owner of ''Sticky Fingers'', an all-vegan bakery in Washington, D.C. Personal life The daughter of Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Howard Rosenberg, Rosenberg became a vegetarian when she was twelve years old and a vegan in 1994. She was 34 at the time of a 2003 newspaper article. She was formerly married to Wayne Pacelle of the Humane Society of the United States. Career In 1991, Rosenberg became involved in the production of the Genesis Awards television special that is aired each year and which honors individuals in the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues. Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. With roots in blues rock, psychedelic rock and acid rock, heavy metal bands developed a thick, monumental sound characterized by distortion (music), distorted guitars, extended guitar solos, emphatic Beat (music), beats and loudness. Robin Wayne Zander (born January 23, 1953) is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Cheap Trick, but is also a solo artist. Zander was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 as a member of Cheap Trick. Early life Zander was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, and grew up in nearby Loves Park, Illinois. He learned to play the guitar by age 12. Zander graduated from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Illinois. Courtney Cox is an American guitarist and member of the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens. Career A native of Philadelphia, Courtney Cox started playing guitar around age 13. At 15, she enrolled at The Paul Green School of Rock Music. During her tenure there, she performed in U.S tours with acts including Jon Anderson and Adrian Belew, performing with such artists as George Lynch and Perry Farrell. "Aces High" is a song by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, written by the band's bassist Steve Harris. It is Iron Maiden's eleventh single release and the second from their fifth studio album, ''Powerslave'' (1984). The first B-side is a cover of Nektar's "King of Twilight", from their 1972 album ''A Tab in the Ocean''.
