Kirrawee High School
Kirrawee High School is a comprehensive co-educational high school located in Kirrawee, New South Wales, Australia, adjacent to the Royal National Park. The school was opened in 1966 and now caters for around 1,200 students, most continuing their education from three local primary schools, Gymea Bay, Grays Point and Kirrawee. The school is a Languages High School which also offers a comprehensive education in sports and in the performing arts, with musician James Morrison, who plays a concert at the school every year, a close mentor for the school's Jazz Orchestra. In the Sutherland Cronulla Education District, Kirrawee High school was second only to the academic selective high school Caringbah High School. Alicia McCormack
Alicia McCormack (born 7 June 1983 in Helensburgh, New South Wales) is an Australian water polo goalkeeper. Her playing career started at the age of fourteen with the Kirrawee High School water polo team, and today she plays for the Cronulla Water Polo Club in the National Water Polo League and is a member of the Australia women's national water polo team. Saya Sakakibara (born 23 August 1999) is an Australian cyclist competing in BMX Supercross events. Personal and early life Sakakibara was born in Australia to a mother of Japanese heritage and a father of British heritage. She started BMX racing at the age of four after watching her older brother competing. The family moved to Sydney in 2007 and Sakakibara joined the South Illawarra BMX Club where her brother Kai was a member. Lena Mihailovic is an Australian female water polo Olympian. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1996. Early life Her father was a professional water polo player until 2005 and Mihailovic lived in many different parts of the world including Montenegro, Italy and Turkey. Chris McCormack (born 4 April 1973), also known as Macca, is an Australian triathlete. McCormack is a two-time winner of the Ironman World Championship, winning the titles in 2007 and 2010.
