Kirk Reynoldson
Kirk Reynoldson (born 11 March 1979) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons in the National Rugby League. He previously played for the Newcastle Knights and the Melbourne Storm. Reynoldson primarily played in the second row. Background Reynoldson was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Playing career Reynoldson played in the lower grades for Parramatta before being released where he signed with Melbourne. Reynoldson made his first grade debut for Melbourne in round 7 of the 2002 NRL season against the New Zealand Warriors. In 2003, Reynoldson played 26 games for the club as they reached the finals but were eliminated in the second week against Canterbury losing 30–0. Bushranger
Bushrangers were originally escaped convicts in the early years of the British settlement of Australia who used the bush as a refuge to hide from the authorities. By the 1820s, the term had evolved to refer to those who took up "robbery under arms" as a way of life, using the bush as their base. Bushranging thrived during the gold rush years of the 1850s and 1860s when the likes of Ben Hall, Bluecap, and Captain Thunderbolt roamed the country districts of New South Wales. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches.
