Davit Kiria ( ka, დავით ქირია) (born February 9, 1988), also spelled as David Kyria, is a Georgian kickboxer who competes in the Featherweight and Lightweight divisions of ONE Championship. Also an Ashihara karate stylist, Kiria is a former Glory Lightweight Champion and Kunlun Fight 70kg World Max Tournament Champion. Combat Press ranked him as the #5 lightweight kickboxer in the world in August 2021. peaking as high as #1 in September 2014. Kiria is a British singer, songwriter and guitarist, born and currently based in London Her debut album ''Radio'' was released in October 2010, by independent record label Koochie Coo Records. Musical style Kiria plays melodic guitar pop incorporating elements of punk rock, with the singer citing original British punk groups, such as the Sex Pistols and The Clash as key inspirations. This combination of influences has led some critics to associate her music with the pop punk genre, however Kiria has made efforts to distance herself from the label, telling ''EGL Magazine'' she resents associations to "bad, cheap, manufactured record 'industry' style 'punk' pop". Instead she has adopted the tag 'Pink Punk', a phrase initially used by veteran Ritz journalist Frances Lynn to describe her music. 2004 Cook Islands General Election
General elections were held in the Cook Islands on 7 September 2004. Initial results showed the Democratic Party winning by a wide margin, but close results led to 11 electoral petitions being filed, delaying the date Parliament could sit until mid-December. In the interim, Prime Minister Robert Woonton announced that he was forming a coalition government with the rival Cook Islands Party. This led to a split within the Democrats, with Woonton and four other MPs leaving to form the Demo Tumu Party. With 14 MPs, the coalition had a comfortable majority in Parliament. The results of the electoral petitions saw the seat of Titikaveka change hands while Woonton's seat was a dead tie.
