Kirchlauter
Kirchlauter is a municipality in the Bavarian Administrative Region of Lower Franconia in the district of Haßberge in Germany. It is a part of the Verwaltungsgemeinde of Ebelsbach. Geography Kirchlauter lies in the Main-Rhön Region (Bavarian Planungsregion 3). It consists of the following boroughs: Kirchlauter, Neubrunn, and Pettstadt. History The municipality was first documented on 30 December 1145. Kirchlauter belonged to the manor of the Barons (Freiherren) of Guttenberg. Traditionally part of Bavaria, in 1810 it became a part of the Grand Duchy of Würzburg, with which it became part of Bavaria for the final time in 1814. Franz-Ludwig Schenk Graf Von Stauffenberg
Count Franz-Ludwig Schenk von Stauffenberg (german: Franz-Ludwig Gustav Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg; born 4 May 1938) is a German lawyer and politician from the CSU. He was a member of the Bundestag from 1976 to 1987 and of the European Parliament from 1984 to 1992. He is the son of World War II colonel and resistance leader Claus von Stauffenberg. Family Franz-Ludwig Gustav Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg is the third son of Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg and Nina Schenk Gräfin von Stauffenberg. Haßberge (district)
Haßberge is a Districts of Germany, ''Landkreis'' (district) in Bavaria, Germany. It is bounded by (from the northeast and clockwise) the districts of Coburg (district), Coburg, Bamberg (district), Bamberg, Schweinfurt (district), Schweinfurt and Rhön-Grabfeld, and by the state of Thuringia (district of Hildburghausen (district), Hildburghausen). History The district was established in 1972 by merging the districts of Haßfurt, Ebern and Hofheim. Geography The district is named after the Haßberge hill chain, which is located south of the Thuringian border. It is an eastern extension of the Rhön Mountains, Rhön mountains and densely forested. South of the hills the Main (river), Main river crosses the district from east to west. South of the river there is the Steigerwald forest, whose northern parts belong to the district. Lower Franconia (german: Unterfranken) is one of seven districts of Bavaria, Germany. The districts of Lower, Middle and Upper Franconia make up the region of Franconia. History After the founding of the Kingdom of Bavaria the state was totally reorganised and, in 1808, divided into 15 administrative government regions (German: , singular ), in Bavaria called (singular: ). They were created in the fashion of the French departements, quite even in size and population, and named after their main rivers. Free Voters
Free Voters (german: Freie Wähler, FW or FWG) in Germany may belong to an association of people which participates in an election without having the status of a registered political party. Usually it involves a locally organized group of voters in the form of a registered association (eV). In most cases, Free Voters campaign only at the local-government level, standing for city councils and for mayoralties. Free Voters tend to achieve their most successful electoral results in rural areas of southern Germany, appealing most to conservative voters who prefer local decisions to party politics.
