Kiran Amegadjie
Kiran Amegadjie is an American football offensive tackle. He played college football at Yale, earning all- Ivy League honors in 2022. Early life and high school Amegadjie grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois and attended Hinsdale Central High School. He was ranked among the top-300 offensive lineman in the class of 2020 and led the team with 25 wins for over three seasons. He was rated a two-star recruit and committed to play college football at Yale over offers from Central Michigan, Indiana State and Southern Illinois. College Amegadjie's freshman season at Yale in 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the 2021 season, he played in and started every game at right guard. During the 2022 season, he started all 10 games at left tackle and was named first-team All- Ivy League. Tackle (gridiron Football Position)
Tackle is a playing position in gridiron football. Historically, in the one-platoon system prevalent in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a tackle played on both offense and defense. In the modern system of specialized units, offensive tackle and defensive tackle are separate positions, and the stand-alone term "tackle" refers to the offensive tackle position only. The offensive tackle (OT, T) is a position on the offensive line, left and right.
