Kay Kinsman
Katherine Nixon Bell (June 27, 1909 – 1998), known as Kay Kinsman, was an artist, writer and student of history and languages. She is noted for her works created with watercolour or in pen and ink depicting street views and everyday life. As an artist and writer, Kinsman published three sketchbooks and her works were also exhibited in England and Quebec. Kinsman was born in Los Angeles, and her father died before her birth. After her mother's death at age 9, Kinsman lived with her grandmother in Cuba, schooling in Jamaica. Throughout her life, Kinsman spent time abroad studying in Paris, living in Switzerland and England, and spent her final years living and studying in Quebec, Canada. At the age of 89, Kinsman died at her final home of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Kinsman spent the last two decades of her life focusing on her academic life studying art, history, languages, drama and classics at Bishop's University, Sherbrooke. Kinsman Mountain
Kinsman Mountain is a mountain located in Grafton County, New Hampshire. It is named after Nathan Kinsman, an early resident of Easton, New Hampshire, and is part of the Kinsman Range of the White Mountains. To the northeast, Kinsman is connected by The Cannon Balls ridge to Cannon Mountain. The west side of Kinsman drains into Reel and Slide Brooks, thence into the Ham Branch of the Gale River, the Gale River, Ammonoosuc River, Connecticut River, and into Long Island Sound in Connecticut. The east side drains into Cascade Brook, thence into the Pemigewasset River, the Merrimack River, and into the Gulf of Maine in Massachusetts. The south face drains into Eliza Brook, thence into Harvard Brook, another tributary of the Pemigewasset. Thomas James Kinsman
Thomas James Kinsman (March 4, 1945 – May 15, 2017) was a United States Army soldier and a recipient of the United States military's highest decoration—the Medal of Honor—for his actions in the Vietnam War. Personal life Kinsman was born in Renton, Washington on March 4, 1945, and attended high school in Onalaska, Washington before moving to Toledo, Washington. He married Deloris Binion in 1971 and with her had seven children. The couple resided in Toledo, Washington where he farmed. He died at the age of 72 in 2017. Military career Kinsman joined the Army from Seattle, Washington in 1967, and by February 6, 1968, was serving as a Private First Class in Company B, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. Kinsman Notch (elev. ) is a mountain pass located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, United States. It is the westernmost of the major notches through the White Mountains (the others being Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch, and Pinkham Notch). To the southeast, the valley of the notch is drained by the Lost River, leading to the Pemigewasset River, and ultimately the Merrimack, flowing into the Gulf of Maine. The northwest half of the notch is drained by Beaver Brook and the Wild Ammonoosuc River, part of the Connecticut River watershed leading to Long Island Sound.
