Kingsway Olympic
The Olympic Kingsway Sports Club, often referenced as Kingsway Olympic, is an association football (soccer) club from Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1953 by Greek immigrants from Macedonia. They moved to their current location at the Kingsway Sporting Complex in Madeley in 1973. They currently have 400 players in teams ranging from Under 6 to under 16, as well as senior Saturday and Sunday Teams. The club currently competes 2023 season in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. History The club was founded in 1953. It was promoted in 1959 to the top division of the State of Western Australia. For the 1978 season, the club was renamed Olympic Kingsway. The club won both the 1978 and 1980 Western Australian State League titles, which qualified them for the 1979 and 1981 NSL Cups. Madeley, Western Australia
Madeley is a suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia north of Perth's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Wanneroo. Nick Ward (footballer, Born 1985)
Nick Ward (born 24 March 1985) is an Australian football (soccer) player, who plays as a midfielder for Pascoe Vale FC in the National Premier League. Stan Lazaridis
Stan Lazaridis (born 16 August 1972) is an Australian former footballer. He was predominantly a left winger though he had been known to perform at left back. He last played for his home-town club Perth Glory and made 58 official appearances for Australia and was in the Australian 2006 FIFA World Cup squad. Daniel Peter De Silva (born 6 March 1997) is an Australian professional football player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Macarthur FC in the A-League.
