Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón (Torrelavega, Cantabria 2 January 1940) is a Spanish screenwriter and film director. His 1973 film ''Habla, mudita'' was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival. In 1977, he won the Silver Bear for Best Director for '' Camada negra'' at the 27th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1979 film '' El corazón del bosque'' was entered into the 29th Berlin International Film Festival. Two years later, his film '' Maravillas'' was entered into the 31st Berlin International Film Festival. His 1982 film ''Demons in the Garden'' was entered into the 13th Moscow International Film Festival where it won the FIPRESCI Prize. In 1991 he was a member of the jury at the 17th Moscow International Film Festival. Héctor Alterio
Héctor Benjamín Alterio Onorato (born 21 September 1929) is an Argentine theatre, film and television actor, well known both in Argentina and Spain. Biography Alterio's theatre debut came in 1948 as the lead in ''Cómo suicidarse en primavera'' ("How to commit suicide in spring"). After finishing drama school, he created the ''Nuevo Teatro'' ("New Theatre") company in 1950, where he worked until 1968 and helped change the Argentine theatrical scene of the 1960s. He also worked in the Argentine cinema. His debut on the silver screen took place in Alfredo Mathé's ''Todo sol es amargo'' (''Every sun is bitter'') in 1965. He then participated in many of the most important Argentine movies of the 1970s, including ''La Patagonia rebelde'' (''The Rebel Patagonia''), which was awarded a Silver Bear at the 24th Berlin International Film Festival. Gerardo Vera Perales (10 March 194720 September 2020) was a Spanish costume and set designer, opera director, actor, and film and theatre director. Life Vera was born in Miraflores de la Sierra on 10 March 1947. He studied English language and literature in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and theatre in the University of Exeter. He was the director of the Centro Dramático Nacional (national theatre of Spain) from June 2004 to December 2011. Andrés Vicente Gómez (Madrid, 16 September 1943) is a Spanish film producer, head of Lolafilms, with more than 100 films to his credit. Career Gómez is the winner of an Oscar in the category of Best Foreign Language film for ''Belle Époque''. Achero Mañas
Achero Mañas (born Achero Mañas Amyach, 5 September 1966) is a Spanish film director and former actor. He made three successful short films before winning recognition and several awards for his feature film debut '' El Bola''. Biography Mañas was born in Madrid to actress Paloma Lorena and playwright Alfredo Mañas. Growing up in the neighbourhoods of Carabanchel and Estrella, he was surrounded and influenced by theatre, literature, and art from an early age, and this guided his academic pursuits and eventual career. He studied painting for 3 years at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios. At the same time, he acted in stage productions and held sporadic roles in cinema.
