Kindermusik
Founded in the United States in 1978, Kindermusik is an early childhood education music and movement program for children from infants to 7 years of age (2nd grade in elementary school). It is based on a kindergarten music and movement program developed by educational experts in Germany in the 1960s. When developing Kindermusik's curriculum, the original creative team drew on the works of esteemed musicians and educators from Europe and Asia, including Shinichi Suzuki, Maria Montessori, Zoltán Kodály, Emile Jaques-Dalcroze and Carl Orff. Within a few years, Kindermusik programs had expanded into Canada, and, from there, around the world. More than 1 million families in at least 60 countries have attended Kindermusik classes in programs worldwide. Kindermusik International, Inc. is a corporation headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. Kindermusik is a method of early childhood education and is one of the most widely recognized music education programs for young children. History In the 1960s in West Germany, a group of teachers developed a program they called "Musikalische Früherziehung" (early musical instruction). Hanzel und Gretyl are an American industrial metal band founded in New York City by Kaizer von Loopy and Vas Kallas in February 1993. History ''Machines Good People Bad'' (1995–1999) Hanzel und Gretyl formed in early 1993. In April 1994, they completed a demo entitled ''Kindermusik''. Of the 200 cassette tapes manufactured, most were sent to record labels and fanzines and some were sold on consignment at a local music store called Bleeker Bob's. In January 1995, after refusing offers from at least one major label to resubmit their demo with only English lyrics, they signed with Energy Records, an independent record label based in New York City. HuG recorded and released their first album, '' Ausgeflippt'', in October 1995. The single "Shine 2001" topped the Alternative Press dance chart at No. 1 shortly after its release.
