Kindbergs
Kindbergs is a Swedish dansband. The band was originally known when it was founded in 1986 as Sten-Åkes Jr.. The name was changed to Kindbergs in 1989. The band played various genres but later on started playing country music almost exclusively. The long-time bassist member Kent Kindberg left the band after two decades of playing and was replaced by Ola Jonsson earlier bass player in another Swedish dansband called Svänzons. The album ''Nu Reser We Västerut'' released on the 25th anniversary of the band, was a great commercial success, charting on the Swedish Albums Chart

Kindberg
Kindberg is a municipality in the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag in Styria, Austria. Kindberg's landmark is the Kindberger Zunftbaum, an approximately 30-metre high wooden pole on the main square. Geography Kindberg lies in the valley of the Mürz about 17 km northeast of Bruck an der Mur and about 20 km southwest of Mürzzuschlag. History In the 8th century, the first Bavarian settlers settled in the Mürztal. More intensive settlement and clearing took place in the 12th century. On 8 May 1267 one of the worst earthquakes in Austria's history occurred near Kindberg. Between 1779 and 1786 one of the most terrible series of murders in Austria took place: A 30-year-old servant ("the Herzlfresser") killed six women and ate the heart of two of them. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. The main influence for rock-oriented bands is the rock music of the 1950s and 1960s. The terms ' and ' were coined around 1970, when Swedish popular music developed a signature style. ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing at Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982-1985. The last years before the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music. The first number one hit song was "Midnattstango" performed by Swedish crooner Lars Lönndahl. New rules on 17 January 2016, restricted the maximum length for a song to chart to one year.
