Kinanoor or Kinavoor is an ancient Village capital (Karithalam/Karantholam/ Karinthalam Gramam) situated in Sahya Hill area of Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India.It is situated between Nileshwar and Parappa. Pilicode is a village in Kasaragod district in the state of Kerala, India. On 2018-04-12 chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared Pilicode as first filament bulb free Panchayat in India as part of Oorjayaanam (ഊര്ജയാനം) project.
