Kimberley Conrad (born Kimberley Conradt; August 6, 1962) was chosen as ''Playboy''s Playboy Playmate, Playmate of the Month in January 1988 and became List of Playmates of the Year, Playmate of the Year 1989. Conrad was Hugh Hefner's second wife and is mother to two of his four children. The comic follows Cathy, a woman who struggles through the "four basic guilt groups" of life—food, love, family, and work. The strip gently pokes fun at the lives and foibles of modern women. The strip debuted on November 22, 1976, and appeared in over 1,400 newspapers at its peak. The strips have been compiled into more than 20 books. Three television specials were also created.
