Kimber Rozier
Kimber Rozier (born July 20, 1989) is an American rugby union player. She made her debut for the in 2012 and for the Eagles sevens at the 2011 Dubai Women's Sevens. She was named in the Eagles 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup squad. She previously competed at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup in France. Rozier plays in the Premier 15s for the Harlequins Ladies. She is a NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist. She has dual Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise and Sport Science and Spanish. She was part of the Eagles sevens team that won bronze at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens. She began her rugby career as a freshman in 2007 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens
The 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens was the sixth edition of the Rugby World Cup Sevens. The tournament was held at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia. New Zealand won the tournament, defeating England 33–0 in the final. Attendance for the tournament was poor, with matches played in mostly empty stadiums. World Rugby, then known as the International Rugby Board (IRB), initially stated that the Rugby World Cup Sevens would be scrapped if rugby sevens were to be included in the Olympic programme for the 2016 Summer Olympics. As the International Olympic Committee voted for the sport's inclusion, this was thought likely to be the last edition of the tournament. The Premier 15s, currently known for sponsorship purposes as the Allianz Premier 15s, is the top tier of the women's English rugby union domestic league system run by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The league was created mainly from teams in the Women's Premiership. Its first season began on 16 September 2017. The reigning champions are Saracens Women. History The Premier 15s was founded by the RFU in October 2016 as Women's Super Rugby, where teams involved would have to invest in training facilities and meet increased minimum standards. The RFU will invest millions of pounds in the clubs over the first three seasons to help develop the improved standards. In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15).
