Kim Young
Young Kim (Korean 김영) (born 2 February 1980) is a South Korean professional golfer. Kim was born in Chunchon, South Korea. She played on the LPGA of Korea Tour winning five times between 1999 and 2003. She won once on the Futures Tour in 2001. She played on the LPGA Tour from 2003 to 2009, winning the 2007 LPGA Corning Classic. Kim's best ever finish in a major championship was a T3 at the 2005 Women's British Open. Kim was second to Lorena Ochoa for Rookie of the Year in 2003. She is perhaps best known for her different hat wear. Kim, when asked to describe the headgear she was wearing, called it a 'bucket hat'. Women's British Open
The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a women's major golf championships, major championship in Professional golf tours#Women's tours, women's professional golf. It is recognised by both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour as a major. The reigning champion is Ashleigh Buhai, who won in a playoff at Muirfield in 2022 Women's British Open, 2022. Since becoming an LPGA major in 2001 it has generally been played in late July or early August. 2013 LPGA Of Japan Tour
The 2013 LPGA of Japan Tour was the 46th season of the LPGA of Japan Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of Japan. 2006 Lexus Cup
The 2006 Lexus Cup was a golf event competed by women representing Asia and an International squad representing the rest of the world. Each team was made up of twelve members. The competition took place at the Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore from 15–17 December 2006. Lexus was the title sponsor while Rolex, DBS Bank, DBS, Singapore Airlines and Singapore Sports Council were main sponsors. The Lexus Cup was an annual golf tournament played between 2005 and 2008 for professional women golfers contested by a team representing Asia and an international team representing the rest of the world. Kraft Nabisco Championship
The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Chunchon
Chuncheon (; ; formerly romanized as Chunchŏn; literally ''spring river'') is the capital of Gangwon Province in South Korea.
