Kim Yoon-ok
Kim Yoon-ok (; born March 26, 1947) is a South Korean academic administrator who was the First Lady of the Republic of Korea. Early life and career Kim graduated from Daegu Girls' High School in 1966 and went on to attend Ewha Womans University, where she graduated in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Education and Management. She married Lee Myung-bak on December 19, 1970, with whom she has a son and three daughters. Her family runs a construction company in Daegu. The family lived in Gahoedong prior to her husband's inauguration. In 1995, she completed the 1st Advanced Leadership Program for Women at her alma mater. In 1996, she completed the 7th Women's Top Management Program at Yonsei University. Ewha Womans University () is a private women's university in Seoul founded in 1886 by Mary F. Scranton under Emperor Gojong. It was the first university founded in South Korea. Lee Myung-bak
Lee Myung-bak (; ; ; born 19 December 1941) is a South Korean businessman and politician who served as the 10th president of South Korea from 2008 to 2013. Before his presidency, he was the CEO of Hyundai Engineering and Construction, and the mayor of Seoul from 2002 to 2006. He is married to Kim Yoon-ok and has three daughters and one son. Lee Sang-deuk (born November 29, 1935) is a South Korean politician and businessman. He is well known as the older brother of the former South Korean president, Lee Myung-bak. He was a member of the conservative Saenuri Party in the National Assembly. He was convicted of bribery in 2013, and is currently serving a one-year prison sentence.
