Kim Sang-man
Kim Sang-man (; born January 28, 1970) is a South Korean film director and art director. Career Kim Sang-man began his career in films designing posters, starting with '' The Contact'' in 1997. He had designed posters for about 30 films when he was given the opportunity to be the art director on ''If the Sun Rises in the West'' in 1998. The highlight of his career as an art director came two years after that when he worked on the now-classic ''Joint Security Area''. Sometime afterwards, Kim joined a band as a bassist and recorded under an independent label. Because of this, in the next film he worked on, ''Bloody Tie'' in 2006, he held two positions: art director and film score composer/music director. In 2008, he directed his first film, the crime caper/comedy ''Girl Scout'' which was fairly well received. He wrote and directed his sophomore feature, the 2010 thriller ''Midnight FM''. Thriller is a genre of fiction, having numerous, often overlapping subgenres. ''My Wife is a Gangster 3'' () is a 2006 Korean film. It is a sequel to ''My Wife is a Gangster 2''. This movie, however bearing the ''My Wife is a Gangster'' title, has little to no relation to the previous movies. Plot Korean gangster Han Ki-Chul (Lee Beom-soo) is put in charge by his Big Boss of looking after Lim Aryong (Shu Qi) who comes from Hong Kong. They expect Lim Aryong to be some big male gangster but she turns out to be a woman and acts very cold toward him and his associates. Moreover, none of them speak her language and she doesn't understand Korean. A translator called Yeon-Hee (Hyun Young) arrives. She is immature and very scared of the gangsters so at the beginning, instead of translating Aryong's rather rude answers, she changes them to nice ones. Quickly, Aryong shows her fierce fighting skills beating other bosses to save her companions. ''Voice of a Murderer'' (; lit. "His Voice") is a 2007 South Korean crime thriller-drama film written and directed by Park Jin-pyo, starring Sol Kyung-gu and Kim Nam-joo. It was the third top-grossing domestic film of 2007, with 3,143,247 tickets sold. The story is a fictionalized account of a real-life kidnapping case in 1991. ''Happy End'' is a South Korean film released in 1999. Written and directed by Jung Ji-woo, the film is about a woman who has an affair while her husband is struggling to find employment. Plot ''Happy End'' is about Choi Bora (Jeon Do-yeon), a successful career woman who becomes involved with her ex-lover, Kim Il-beom (Joo Jin-mo). Bora's home life is a snore: she's mother to an infant child and her husband, Seo Min-ki (Choi Min-sik) has lost his job, leaving Bora as the family's sole breadwinner. A biographical film or biopic () is a film that dramatizes the life of a non-fictional or historically-based person or people. Such films show the life of a historical person and the central character's real name is used. They differ from docudrama films and historical drama films in that they attempt to comprehensively tell a single person's life story or at least the most historically important years of their lives.
