Kim Hye-rin (curler)
Kim Hye-rin (born November 9, 1999) is a South Korean curler from Uijeongbu. She currently plays third on the Chuncheon City Hall curling team, skipped by Ha Seung-youn. While playing for Kim Min-ji, She won a gold medal at the 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships and a silver medal at the 2020 World Junior Curling Championships. Career Kim played third for the South Korean junior team at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships, skipped by Kim Min-ji, where she would win the bronze medal. After finishing the round robin with a 7–2 record, the team lost to Hungary (skipped by Dorottya Palancsa) in the 3 vs. 4 page playoff game, but went on to beat the Hungarians in a re-match in the bronze medal game, after Hungary lost in the semifinal. Pacific-Asia Curling Championships
The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships (formerly the Pacific Curling Championships) are an annual curling tournament, held every year in November or December. The top team receives a berth to the World Curling Championships, while the second-placed team also receives a berth if the championships are held in the Americas or in Europe. The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships currently consist of teams from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Qatar and South Korea. In 2018 WCF Congress, Nigeria is announced as the first African country accepted as member and will compete in the PAC zone beginning in 2019. Uijeongbu () is a Administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Curling
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called ''rocks'', across the ice ''curling sheet'' toward the ''house'', a circular target marked on the ice. 2023 Korean Curling Championships
The 2023 Korean Curling Championships, Korea's national curling championships, were held from June 22 to 30 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. The winning teams on both the men's and women's sides will become the Korean National Teams for the 2023–24 curling season. They will represent Korea at the 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships and later the 2023 World Curling Championships if they reach qualification. The championship was held in three rounds. The 2020 Korean Curling Championships (branded as the 2020 KB Financial Korean Curling Championships), Korea's national curling championships, were held from November 19 to 24 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. The winning teams on both the men's and women's sides became the Korean National Teams for the 2020–21 curling season. They represented Korea at the 2021 World Men's Curling Championship and the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship. The Korean Curling Championships (branded as the KB Financial Korean Curling Championships from 2012 to 2022) are the annual Korean men's and women's curling championships, organized by the Korean Curling Federation (KCF). The winners of the championship qualify for the Korean National Team.
