Kim Hyde
Kimberly "Kim" Hyde is a character on the Australian television soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Chris Hemsworth. He made his first appearance on 17 February 2004 and departed on 3 July 2007. Casting Hemsworth originally auditioned for the role of Robbie Hunter, but he was turned down by the producers and the role went to Jason Smith. Hemsworth was then asked to return and try out for the role of Kim Hyde. He won the role and had to relocate to Sydney to film his scenes. Of joining ''Home and Away'', Hemsworth said "The role in ''Home and Away'' is consistent work for me and is a great experience. It is so fast-paced and basically it allows me to learn a lot about the industry." Hemsworth appeared for three and a half years on ''Home and Away'', before leaving in 2007 to focus on his film career. Hayley Rose Smith (also Lawson) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away''. She was portrayed from September 1998 to September 2005 by actress Rebecca Cartwright and from September to November 2005 by Ella Scott Lynch, after Cartwright left the show for personal reasons. Amy Mizzi (born 21 July 1983) is an Australian actress. She starred as Kit Hunter in the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'' in 2003 and early 2004. Mizzi's departure from ''Home and Away'' was announced on 13 February 2004 but she continued to appear on a recurring basis throughout 2004 and returned in August 2005. She also made appearances in 2006, most recently in the last episode of ''Home and Away'' for 2006, when she returned pregnant with the baby of Kim Hyde (played by actor Chris Hemsworth). Irene Roberts is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Home and Away''. She was originally played by actress Jacqy Phillips from her introduction in Episode 887 shown on 29 October 1991, until 13 May 1992 (Episode 1003).
