''Kilukkampetti'' (കിലുക്കാംപെട്ടി, ') is a 1991 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Shaji Kailas and written by Rajan Kiriyath and Vinu Kiriyath from a story by Kailas. It stars Jayaram and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, and also features Shamili, Jagathy Sreekumar, Sai Kumar, and Innocent in significant roles. The film was a box office success. The film is loosely based on the 1990 made-for-TV film '' The Maid''. The film was remade in Telugu as '' Joker'' (1993) and in Hindi as '' Pyaar Impossible!'' (2010). Plot Prakash Menon (Jayaram) is a successful architect based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His company's Kochi branch was not doing well and the company relocated him to Kochi to improve things. He was supposed to replace his equivalent in Kochi named Anu Pillai (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi). Anu is not happy about the company's decision: She does not want to move out of Kochi and she objects. Shaji Kailas
Shaji Kailas (born 8 February 1965) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Malayalam cinema. Shaji got a breakthrough with the comedy film ''Dr. Pasupathy'' (1990). Janardhanan Nair (born 5 May 1946) is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Airforce personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film '' Adyathe Kadha'', directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. Padiyath Kochumoideen Kunjalu (1930 22 May 2000), known by his stage name Bahadoor, was an Indian actor and comedian who, along with Adoor Bhasi, redefined the way in which comedy and funny scenes were perceived in the Malayalam cinema. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles. He has acted in more than 750 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. Bobby Kottarakkara
Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''. He also acted in several TV serials. It was during the filming of ''Vakkalathu Narayanankutty'' that Bobby died of a massive heart attack in December 2000.
