Killyclogher St Mary's GAC
Killyclogher St Mary's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Killyclogher in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. After many years of underage success, the club finally made the Senior Championship breakthrough in 2003. In 2016 they added another Senior Championship to their collection. They have appeared in 5 Senior County finals in the last 20 years. They currently have two Tyrone senior players: Tiernan McCann and Mark Bradley. Gaelic Athletic Association
The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA; ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael ; CLG) is an Irish international amateur sporting and cultural organisation, focused primarily on promoting indigenous Gaelic games and pastimes, which include the traditional Irish sports of hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, Gaelic handball and rounders. Killyclogher
Killyclogher () is a village on the outskirts of the town of Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is also a townland and an electoral ward of Omagh & Fermanagh District Council. According to the 2001 census, it had a population approaching 3000 (illegitimate ) (previous statistic incorrect) Boundaries Due to urban sprawl in the 1990s, Killyclogher is often recognised as being inside Omagh town boundaries, Killyclogher residents take great pride in their own parochial identity separate from neighbouring Drumragh Parish (Omagh Town). This has led to much debate between the residents of the greater Omagh area as to where Omagh ends and Killyclogher begins. Tiernan McCann (born 24 May 1991) is an Gaelic footballer who plays for the Killyclogher St Mary's club and the Tyrone county team. Mark Bradley (Gaelic Footballer)
Mark Bradley (born 1994/5) is a Gaelic footballer who plays for Killyclogher and formerly of the Tyrone county team. He is a playmaker, at corner-forward for his club, though in the half-forward line for his county. Bradley won a Tyrone Senior Football Championship with his club in 2016. He won the 2015 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship and Ulster Under-21 Football Championship with his county. Bradley made his senior inter-county debut in a National Football League game against Dublin at Croke Park. He played in the 2018 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, where he was the only change announced in advance from the semi-final. He spent a year abroad in 2019. Dermot Carlin
Dermot Carlin is a Gaelic footballer for the Killyclogher St Mary's club and the Tyrone county team. He was a member of the squad that won the county's first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 2003. In the same year he was part of the Killyclogher team which captured the Tyrone Senior Football Championship for the first time. Carlin was also part of Tyrone's 2001 All-Ireland Minor Championship winning team. In a very competitive era in Tyrone football, Carlin fought his way back onto the first team lineup by 2007.
