Killing Of Health Workers In The Israel–Hamas War
Many health workers have been killed during attacks on medical facilities and medical transport in the Israel–Hamas war. Although the injuries happened both on the Israeli side and on the Palestinian side, most of these attacks were carried out by Israeli forces against Palestinians. By 23 November 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) had documented 178 health attacks in the Gaza Strip that resulted in the death or injury of healthcare workers on duty.
