Killer Joe (Jimmy Osmond Album)
''Killer Joe'' is the second album by "Little" Jimmy Osmond, released in 1972 on MGM Records. The first single from this album, "Long Haired Lover from Liverpool", copyright Virgin Ear Music, reached #1 on the U.K. singles, making the then nine-year-old Osmond the youngest chart-topper in British charts history. It was produced by Mike Curb and Perry Botkin Jr.; unlike the rest of the album which was produced and arranged by Don Costa. Ed Caraeff was responsible for the front cover photography. "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" is a popular song first recorded by Elvis Presley in 1957 for the soundtrack of his second motion picture, '' Loving You'', during which Presley performs the song on screen. It was written by Kal Mann and Bernie Lowe and published in 1957 by Gladys Music. The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Before the Kent Report, ''Go-Set'' magazine published weekly Top-40 Singles from 1966, and Album charts from 1970 until the magazine's demise in August 1974. Winfield Scott (November 27, 1920 – October 26, 2015), also known as Robie Kirk, was an American songwriter and singer. He wrote or co-wrote the hit songs "Tweedle Dee" for LaVern Baker, and he was a co-writer with Otis Blackwell of " Return to Sender" for Elvis Presley. "Return to Sender", written for the Presley film ''Girls! Girls! Girls!'', was a U.K. No.1 single and peaked at No.2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Scott was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey. In the 1950s, he was a member of a vocal group, The Cues. Scott was a longtime collaborator of Otis Blackwell and together they were hired to write a song for the Elvis Presley film ''Roustabout''.
