Kill The Headlights
''Kill the Headlights'' is the fourth studio album by Adema, released on August 21, 2007. The album is the only to feature vocalist Bobby Reeves, and guitarist Ed Faris, from the Los Angeles nu metal band LeVeL. The album was released by Immortal Records, after 2005's ''Planets'' was released by Earache Records. The album is the band's first not to debut on the ''Billboard'' 200 charts. It registered first weeks sales of approximately 2,000 copies. The band formed in 2000 with members vocalist Mark Chavez, guitarist Tim Fluckey, guitarist Mike Ransom, bassist Dave DeRoo, and drummer Kris Kohls. After their first two albums, ''Adema'', and ''Unstable'', the band was plagued with years of conflict and lineup changes. Ransom left the band in 2003 followed by Chavez later in 2004 due to conflicts between themselves and other members of the band. Luke Caraccioli replaced Chavez in early 2005 for one album, ''Planets'', but then left a few months later in late 2005. Vocalist Bobby Reeves and guitarist Ed Faris, both from the band Level, were recruited to join as well, but only released one album, ''Kill the Headlights'' in 2007, before entering a hiatus. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Dave DeRoo (born September 3, 1974) is an American rock musician, known primarily for his role as bassist of the rock band Adema. Early life Dave DeRoo was born in Bakersfield, California; his father, Doug DeRoo, was a well-known radio DJ. Many of his earliest performances were while he attended East Bakersfield High School where he was in the graduating class of 1992. Professional career Sexart In 1991 DeRoo was one of the members of Sexart. Sexart has since gained cult notoriety for its connection with Korn and featured Jonathan Davis of Korn on vocals. Sexart, sometimes written SexArt or Sex Art featured musicians that would go on to careers with the bands Orgy, Dead by Sunrise, L.A.P.D, Korn, Cradle of Thorns, Videodrone, and Adema. Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments.
