''Kili Poyi'' is a 2013 Indian Malayalam language stoner film directed by debutant Vinay Govind, a former associate of V. K. Prakash. The film stars Asif Ali, Aju Varghese, Sampath Raj, Raveendran, and Sreejith Ravi in major roles. The film was produced by SJM Entertainments and written by Joseph Kurian, Vivek Ranjit and Vinay Govind. The film features music and background score composed by Rahul Raj. ''Kili Poyi'' is considered to be the first Indian stoner film. Plot summary Chacko and Hari are young ad professionals who are fed up with their boss (Sandra Thomas) and her tantrums. Vinay Govind
Vinay Govindankutty or better known as Vinay Govind (born 3 March 1988) is an Indian film director. His first feature directional venture, ''Kili Poyi'' debuted on 1 March 2013. The film opened to mixed response from the critics, though found major fanfare among the youth. ''Kili Poyi'' is also one of the few stoner films produced in the country. Early life and education Vinay was born in Perinthalmanna, a town in the Malappuram District of Kerala. He completed his high school in Presentation English Medium High School, Perinthalmanna. He graduated in visual communications from Loyola College, Chennai, a prominent institution in Southern India. Joju George
Joseph George, better known as Joju George (born 22 October 1977) is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. He has acted in Malayalam films and worked on Tamil projects as well.
