Kilembe Mines FC
Kilembe Mines Football Club, abbreviated as Kilembe Mines FC, is a Ugandan football club located in Kilembe, Kasese in the Rwenzori Mountains. The club played in the Uganda National League throughout the 1970s. History Kilembe Mines FC currently plays in the Kasese District League Division One which is part of the fourth tier of the Ugandan football league system. The club is affiliated to the Kasese District Football Association which is within Zone 11 Kitara region ''(Tooro Sub Region)'' of the FUFA administrative areas. Kilembe Mines FC was supported financially by the Kilembe Mines Limited and became the first up-country club to play in Uganda’s top league, the National First Division League in 1969. In their first match in the top tier the club lost 14–0 away to Express FC at the Nakivubo Stadium. However, in the reverse fixture at Kilembe in the final match of the season the home side gained revenge by defeating Express 1–0 to hand the title to Prisons FC. ...

Kasese
Kasese is a town north of Lake George in the Western Region of Uganda. It originally grew around the copper mine at Kilembe, while attention later turned to cobalt mining. It is the chief town of Kasese District, and the district headquarters are located there. Kasese is also the largest town in the Rwenzururu region. Charles Mumbere, the Omusinga of Rwenzururu, maintains a palace in the town. Location Kasese is at the western end of the Uganda Railway to Kampala and Tororo and is home to Kasese Airport. Idi Amin
Idi Amin Dada Oumee (, ; 16 August 2003) was a Ugandan military officer and politician who served as the third president of Uganda from 1971 to 1979. He ruled as a military dictator and is considered one of the most brutal despots in modern world history. Amin was born in Koboko in what is now northwest Uganda to a Kakwa father and Lugbara mother. In 1946, he joined the King's African Rifles (KAR) of the British Colonial Army as a cook. He rose to the rank of lieutenant, taking part in British actions against Somali rebels and then the Mau Mau Uprising in Kenya. Uganda gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1962, and Amin remained in the army, rising to the position of major and being appointed commander of the Uganda Army in 1965. He became aware that Ugandan President Milton Obote was planning to arrest him for misappropriating army funds, so he launched the 1971 Ugandan coup d'état and declared himself president. The 1977 Uganda National League was the tenth season of the Ugandan football championship, the top-level football league of Uganda. Overview The 1977 Uganda National League was contested by 13 teams and was won by Kampala City Council FC, while Gangama were relegated. Express FC defeated the Army side Simba FC 2-0 in a crucial league match but were subsequently banned for allegedly being involving in anti-government activities, by the Governor of the Central Province, Col. Abdallah Nasur, who was unhappy about his side's loss. In 1979 the ban was lifted after the regime of Idi Amin had ended. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. Biharwe FC
Biharwe Football Club was a Ugandan football club located in Biharwe, Mbarara in Western Uganda. The club played in the Ugandan Super League in the 2007–08 season but there is currently no FUFA records that the club is still operating.
