Kilefjorden
Kilefjorden is a lake on in Agder county, Norway. The lake is located on the border of the municipalities of Evje og Hornnes, Iveland, and Vennesla. The lake is part of the river Otra. The lake is located about west of the village of Birketveit in Iveland, about north of the village of Hægeland in Vennesla, and about south of the village of Hornnes in Evje og Hornnes. The steamship Bjoren worked in this lake from 1866–1896 transporting people and items across the lake. In 1896, the boat was moved to the Byglandsfjorden. The Norwegian National Road 9 runs along the southwestern end of the lake. Prior to 1950, the lake's outflow was at the waterfall ''Soga'' on the southeast end of the lake. In 1950, the Gåseflå dam was built further upstream creating the lake Gåseflåfjorden which adjoins the Kilefjorden at the same surface elevation so the waterfall is now underwater and it can only be seen when the lake Gåseflå is lowered for work on the power station. Bjoren
SS ''Bjoren'' is a wood-fuelled steamboat that travels the route between Bygland-Byglandsfjord, Bygland and Bygland- Ose on the lake Byglandsfjorden in the municipality of Bygland in the Setesdal valley. She runs on Sundays in July. Using wood as fuel is a natural choice as there was, and still is, good local access to it. Using wood to fuel the steam engine contributes to make ''Bjoren'' a unique part of Norway's cultural heritage and a floating technical museum. Evje og Hornnes is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Setesdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Evje. Otra
The Otra is the largest river in the Sørlandet region of Norway. It begins in Setesdalsheiene mountains at the lake Breidvatnet in Bykle municipality in Agder county, just south of the border with Vinje municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county. The river then flows south through Bykle, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Iveland, Vennesla, and Kristiansand municipalities. Hægeland or Hægelandskrossen is a village in Vennesla municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the northeastern shore of the lake Hægelandsvatnet, a short distance south of the Kilefjorden. The Norwegian National Road 9 runs north-south through the village, just past Hægeland Church. The village of Bjelland lies about to the east and the villages of Skarpengland and Øvrebø both lie about to the south. Byglandsfjorden
Byglandsfjorden is a lake in Agder county, Norway. The lake lies on the river Otra, primarily in the municipality of Bygland, but the far southern tip of the lake extends into the neighboring municipality of Evje og Hornnes. The river flows out of the lake Åraksfjorden to the north and into the Byglandsfjorden through a narrow channel, and the southern end of the Byglandsfjorden is marked by a dam along the river.
