Kikuchi Yōsai
, also known as Kikuchi Takeyasu and Kawahara Ryōhei, was a Japanese painter most famous for his monochrome portraits of historical figures. Biography The son of a samurai named Kawahara of Edo, he was adopted by a family named Kikuchi. When eighteen, he became a pupil of Takata Enjō; but, after studying the principles of the Kanō, Shijō, and Maruyama schools, perhaps, under Ozui, a son of Ōkyo, he developed an independent style, having some affinities with that of Tani Bunchō. His illustrated history of Japanese heroes, the '' Zenken Kojitsu'', is a remarkable specimen of his skill as a draughtsman in monochrome ink. In order to produce this work, and his many other portraits of historical figures, he performed extensive historical, and even archaeological, research. Yasuro Kikuchi
was a Japanese amateur Go player. Biography Kikuchi founded the prestigious ''Ryokusei Academy'' in 1975, which has become one of the most prolific Go schools in Japan. Some of the most famous players to come out of the academy include Kikuyo Aoki (current Women's Meijin), Atsushi Kato, Jiro Akiyama, Tomochika Mizokami (winner of many youth titles), and Keigo Yamashita (four times Kisei). Kikuchi's other students include Shinichi Aoki, Ryuichi Muramatsu, Keiichi Tsurumaru, Yoshimichi Suzuki, Atsushi Katsura, Ko Reibun. He has won many amateur titles, his biggest coming in 1992 when he won the World Amateur Go Championship. He also came in third place at the 2003 competition. (born November 21, 1964) is a Japanese retired professional wrestler. He is best known for All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH. Kikuchi idolized and patterned his style after the Dynamite Kid. Shunsuke Kikuchi (菊地 俊介, born 4 October 1991 in Saitama, Saitama, Japan) is a Japanese football player for Ehime FC in J3 League from 2023. Career Kikuchi begin first youth career with Inagakuen Public High School from 2007 until 2009 and entered to Nippon Sport Science University from 2010 until he was graduation in 2013. Kikuchi was regarded as one of Japan's most highly demanded film and TV composers, working principally on ''tokusatsu'' and anime productions, as well as violent action films, ''jidaigeki'', and television dramas.
