Kiki DeAyala
Julian Luis "Kiki" DeAyala (born October 23, 1961 in Miami, Florida) is a former American football linebacker in the United States Football League and the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 1983 NFL Draft, but first played for the USFL's Houston Gamblers. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns. He graduated from Memorial High School in Houston, Texas. DeAyala holds six Texas Longhorns records including career sacks with 40.5 and sacks in a season with 22.5. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). The Texas Longhorns are the athletic teams representing the University of Texas at Austin.
