Anton Kikaš
Anton Kikaš (also known as Tony, born in 1941 in Bijakovići, Bosnia-Hercegovina) is a Croatian-Canadian business man who was arrested for arms smuggling by Yugoslav authorities on 31 August 1991 during the Croatian war of independence and subsequently released in an exchange on 25 November 1991. Early life Kikaš was born in 1941 to ethnic Croatian parents in Bijakovići in Hercegovina, and spent his early life in Kakanj and Sarajevo. After graduating from the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, he subsequently emigrated to Canada in 1968. In Canada he became active in the Croat community there, and in 1987 was involved in the establishment of the department of Croatian language and literature at the University of Waterloo. Kikaš was also involved in business in Morocco, Trinidad, and Saudi Arabia, and had arranged football matches in Los Angeles. Emílio Camilo da Costa (born 5 January 1974), known professionally as Don Kikas, is an Angolan singer from the city of Sumbe in the southern Angolan province of Cuanza Sul. Early life In his early days as a child his parents moved to Brazil where he started to take a liking to music and dreaming of becoming a singer. At the age of 8, he was assisted by his mother in writing his first song. He would attend a few singing contests and as he walked out victorious, his passion for singing grew. Musical career He began singing at local nightclubs and discothèques in Portugal at the age of 18 until in 1994 he was invited to record his debut album, ''Sexy Baby'', which was released in 1995. In 1997, Kikas released his second album, ''Pura Sedução'' which was silver in Portugal. Joaquim Brandão Gomes, also known as "Kikas", (born December 23, 1980) is a retired Angolan professional basketball player. He has played professionally in Germany and the Netherlands. A in height, 100 kg (220 pounds) in weight center-power forward, Gomes was a stand out at Valparaiso University in Indiana, United States, where he played from 2000 to 2004. João Diogo Alves Rodrigues (born 17 September 1998), known as Kikas, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Belenenses SAD as a striker. Club career Kikas was born in Castelo Branco, and finished his youth career with Vitória de Guimarães up north.
